Natalia Dicenta, Michelle Calvó, Óscar Higares, and Alex Medina are some performers joining the cast headed by Jose Coronado, Luis Zahera, Nona Sobo, and Felipe Londoño. Tirso's ex-wife's appearance and Ezequiel's amnesiac awakening will trigger the series' new plots.
With new incorporations of actors to the artistic cast and a wide arc of stories originating after the arrival of the characters they bring to life, ‘Wrong Side Of The Tracks’ will return to Telecinco’s prime time with eight new episodes that will support its third season.
Natalia Dicenta in the role of Maica, Tirso’s (Jose Coronado) ex-wife; Michelle Calvó as Dulce, Ezequiel’s goddaughter; Óscar Higares as Romero, a new commissioner willing to do anything to get ahead in politics; and Álex Medina as Tente, a young gang member who will be an implacable and violent adversary for Tirso, will be the main actors who will join Jose Coronado, Luis Zahera, Nona Sobo, Felipe Londoño, Laura Ramos, Manuel Tallafé, Manolo Caro, María Molins, Itziar Atienza and María de Nati in the new episodes of the fiction.
Produced in collaboration with Alea Media and distributed by Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group, ‘Wrong Side Of The Tracks’ received unanimous praise from critics and audiences in its first two seasons, which were broadcast with great audience success on Telecinco. It was the only Spanish fiction selected for the MIPTV 2022 Fiction Fresh TV. After its free-to-air broadcast, it reached the top 10 on Netflix TV in 71 countries. It remained in the top 10 most watched non-English speaking TV series on this platform for five consecutive weeks.
The start of the third season
After the events that took place in the neighborhood at the end of the second season of ‘Wrong Side Of The Tracks, Tirso’s life is going along happily: his relationship with Gladys is going well, the hardware store is a prosperous business, and his granddaughter Irene is about to give birth. But the arrival in the neighborhood of Maica, his ex-wife, will be a substantial shock for the family, who will be torn between accepting or rejecting her, and for the neighborhood, since Maica, who has worked for years as an aid worker, intends to start a foundation to help gang members get off the streets, which will trigger severe problems with street gangs in which Tirso will be forced to intervene.
Meanwhile, Ezequiel wakes up from his coma without remembering anything. He is forced to lead a new life away from the police and criminals. But although the past is alien to him, it will not cease to haunt him: Nata and her henchmen will put him back in the spotlight, and the new neighborhood commissioner, an ambitious and unscrupulous man, will see in him an obstacle to achieving his goals. In this unique situation, the ex-cop will have the help of his goddaughter. This former martial arts champion works as head of security at a macro-discotheque and will become his only ally.
