The premieres of ‘Maribáñez. El peor equipo del Mundo on Cuatro and ‘El Pueblo’ on Telecinco resulted in substantial increases in the broadcasting slots of both channels compared to last week’s data.
The premiere of the third season of the legendary comedy ‘El Pueblo,’ created by the same team behind ‘La Que Se Avecina,’ added more than one point to the premiere rating of the previous season and surpassed the ratings of all episodes from the second season, achieving a share of 11.6% and over one million viewers.
The comedy, which tells the peculiar story of the inhabitants of Peñafria, continues its great success, not only on traditional television but also with excellent performance on digital platforms. This is the case with Prime Video, where the fourth season has remained among the top 3 spots in Spain’s Top 10 since its premiere on April 14.
The same goes for the new docu-reality ‘Maribañez: El peor equipo del Mundo,’ which tells the story of the transformation of a modest football team under the guidance of Cristóbal Soria. The newest comedy production in Mediterráneo’s catalog debuted in prime time, registering a 6.4 share and almost 700,000 viewers, helping Cuatro increase its average viewership in the prime-time slot.
