Synopsis

Lucia’s situation mirrors that of many girls, but life offers her a chance to change it. “Date Blind” begins with her sister Irene’s wedding announcement, turning her mother, Maruchi, into a wedding planner.

Maruchi wants everything perfect for her favorite daughter’s wedding. The problem is she’s self-absorbed: she criticizes Lucia, predicting she’ll appear overweight, dressed in black, and without a boyfriend. Lucia decides to take on the challenge: losing weight, finding a partner, and, in return, gaining her grandmother’s house in Torrevieja.
