Synopsis
‘The Countryside’ humorously depicts the adventures of a group of characters who respond to an advertisement promising a house and a new life away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Their destination is Peñafría, a tiny town in Soria that appears to be abandoned, but they soon discover they are not alone and begin to coexist with some peculiar locals. In the end, they all converge in Peñafría, a place that, far from being uninhabited, is home to some unique residents.
