On May 8th, Amazon Prime Video Spain exclusively premiered ‘Mothers’, the brand-new medical drama distributed by Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group. The series, starred by women, explores the female universe from a harsh perspective: the struggle of mothers whose children are hospitalized for long periods of time.
Apart from the powerful plot, it is important to take into account the remarkable production. The series has been produced by Mediaset Spain in collaboration with Alea Media, production company of successful shows such as ‘Unauthorized living’, which was worldwide acquired by Netflix , or ‘Patria’, HBO Europe’s first original production. The triumph of ‘Mothers’ was also relevant in the online edition of MIPTV 2020, which was held last March. The famous French consultancy The Wit highlighted the series, including ‘Mothers’ in the Fresh TV Fiction category.
